The Connecticut Invasive Plant Working Group (CIPWG) has announced that it will be holding its 2016 Biennial Conference on October 11, 2016 at the University of Connecticut. This is a well-respected and well-attended event that is the crossroads for people throughout the state concerned about invasive plants. This includes nurseries, landscapers, conservation commissioners, arborists, tree wardens, volunteers, gardeners – the list is extensive. The theme for the 2016 symposium is: Invasive Plants in Our Changing World: Learn from the Past, Prepare for the Future.
