This program gives professional arborists the tools to expand their knowledge in the fundamentals of tree risk assessment. This qualification promotes the safety of people and property by providing a standardized and systematic process for assessing tree risk. The results of a tree risk assessment can provide tree owners and risk managers with the knowledge to make informed decisions about tree benefits, health, and longevity.
The TRAQ course is a two-day educational session followed by a half-day assessment that includes both a written and field component. If you pass the assessment, you will become ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.
Registration includes the course, the Tree Risk Assessment Manual, TRAQ workbook, lunch, and snacks during the two-day training. ISA or New York State Arborist Members pay $625 USD and Non Members pay $750.
