The 103rd Annual Meeting is Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the AquaTurf Club in Plantsville, CT
The CTPA Annual Meeting is a one day gathering of CTPA members and others involved in trees and tree care, in either a professional or personal capacity. The meeting includes a trade show, educational presentations and a great meal. It also includes the CTPA’s annual Business Meeting, its Awards Presentations, and updates from various partner organizations, such as the CT Agricultural Experiment Station and the DEEP Pesticide Program.
The Annual Meeting is held each year on the third Thursday in January.
Previous speakers at CTPA Annual Meetings have included John Ball, Ed Gilman, Dennis Ryan, Brian Kane, Christina Wells, Neil Hendrickson and, going back a few years, Alex Shigo. By bringing the leaders in the tree care profession to Connecticut, the CTPA seeks to keep its members connected with the latest advances in the understanding of trees and tree care. At the same time, the Association also keeps in mind the specific and often local interests of its members and so aims to provide a balance of perspectives to the meeting’s attendees.
