ANNOUCEMENT!!!!!
The CTPA is taking the leap of modernizing the sign-in sheets for meetings and workshops. We are starting at the 103rd Annual Meeting on January 16, 2025, with sign-in rosters for ISA and TCIA. A QR code will be displayed on the projector screen in the meeting room at the end of the last talk. This procedure is in step with the current procedure when attending an ISA or TCIA workshop/talk. The State of CT, Forest Practitioner and Advanced Certified Tree Warden sign in sheets will be on paper for the annual meeting, located at the back of the meeting room.
The next step in rolling out the paperless roster/certification process will be at the Summer Meeting taking place on Thursday, July 17, 2025. During that meeting, and all meetings moving forward, the QR code will be displayed at the end of each talk including ISA, TCIA, State of CT, Forest Practitioner and Advanced Certified Tree Warden. The ISA and TCIA organization only require a sign in, and no certificate will be issued. The State of CT, Forest Practitioner and Advanced Certified Tree Warden will require a sign-in with the QR code and the certificate will be emailed to you with your information on the certificate already filled out. The CTPA 103rd Annual Meeting is January 16, 2025. Pre-registration is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcomed.
The following CEU’s have been awarded: State of CT 3A and 3D – 4.25 CEU’s, ISA Certified Arborist – 3.75 CEU’s, TCIA CTSP – 1.0 CEU, Advanced Certified Tree Wardens – 4.50 CEU’s and Forest Practitioner – 2.0 CEU’s.
