The Connecticut Urban Forest Council (CUFC) is pleased to announce a new urban forestry grant opportunity. The Urban Forestry Climate Change Grant Program will provide funding, up to $37,000, to municipalities or non-profits for projects that use urban forestry to address the local effects of climate change and that also include equity and environmental justice as among the goals of the project.

There will be two rounds of applications, with the first round due on November 3rd. Also, stay tuned – CT DEEP will be making an official announcement regarding this and other urban forestry grant opportunities shortly.
